From 1st October 2017, Devon County Council will only be accepting applications for free school meals via a new online self-service portal which will enable parents to access their free school meal eligibility.  It gives parents and carers a simple, easy-to-use way to apply for free school meals.

Access to the portal can be made here where additional information is also available about this service.  The link to this can also be found on the website in ‘School Information’.

IMPORTANT: The person making the application must be the person holding parental responsibility for the child/ren they are applying for. The school cannot log in to the portal on behalf of parent/carers.  Please speak to the School office for guidance.

KS1 have John Dougherty coming into school on Friday 13th October 1.45pm-2.45pm.

John Dougherty will be bringing his books for sale and signing on the day. Some of our previous pupils were lucky enough to see him at the Barnstaple Library some years ago and the feedback then was that they had a really great, entertaining and inspiring afternoon.

Postponed following family illness - when we have a new date for Mr Dougherty’s visit we will let you know.

Our Key Stage 2 children had a visit from the very funny and enthusiastic author 'Guy Bass'. With the help of some of the children, Guy brought his characters to life!
