W/C 20th April
It has been wonderful to welcome the children back after the Easter holidays!
This week, our provision has been focused on strengthening our hand-eye coordination. The activities and games have helped us to use our eyes and hands together smoothly, which will help us get better at holding a pencil, cutting with scissors, building with blocks, catching and throwing balls, and using tools and resources safely. Developing these skills also supports early writing, reading, and self-care tasks like doing up coats.

This week, our days have been full of the language associated with measures! We have been using the words 'longer' 'shorter' and 'taller' to describe and compare objects. It would be great if you could use some of these words over the weekend to help consolidate their understanding.

Also, do you remember our beautiful daffodil paintings from a few weeks ago? Well, they've now been moved to the main corridor so that everyone can enjoy them! Please do have a look if you're passing that way.
