Prayer Spaces
Each week during lunchtime, members of our local church join us to run a Prayer Spaces session for our pupils. These gentle, reflective activities give children a quiet moment in the middle of a busy school day to pause, wonder, and explore big ideas about themselves, others, and God. Whether writing hopes on ribbons, creating prayers with sand, or spending time in peaceful reflection, children look forward to these sessions as a special opportunity to connect with their thoughts and feelings in a calm, supportive environment.
Once a year, our church community transforms our school hall for a full Prayer Spaces Day. Throughout the day, children in Key Stage 2 are invited to journey through a series of beautifully created prayer stations, each designed to inspire curiosity, reflection, and spiritual growth. This annual event is a much‑loved highlight in our school calendar, bringing our whole community together and offering children a chance to experience prayer, stillness, and creativity in a meaningful and memorable way.
