Welcome back to the new school year!
It has been the most wonderful week getting to know my class. They have settled so quickly and have shown great maturity already. We have started our new text 'Beowulf' and they have loved creating their own Anglo-Saxon Kennings. They have created their own self-portraits, can you see the resemblance? 
We've also been working hard on our learning routines - particularly in Maths. They're working with their new talk partners and developing their confidence and mathematical reasoning.
